The idea of Bankers Forum Bashundhara (BFB) originally came from idle chitchat among a few bankers residing in the

Bashundhara residential area. But as the saying goes, even the greatest thighs have humble beginnings.

One evening, a few bankers were gathered in the Bashundhara Residential Area’s Coffee Adda. They mentioned that even though there are many bankers residing in this area, they are not in contact with one another. Can we figure out a way to come together? They simply took a little pause and promptly made a decision to create a WhatsApp Group with the name “Bankers In Bashundhara” (BIB). That is the start of the history. With the information of a WhatsApp Group, information of the Group immediately spread, and neighborhood bankers started to join frequently. The group quickly developed into a platform for networking, and it eventually grew into a close-knit neighborhood of people with similar interests who were connected

together by their profession and place of residence. The name of the Bankers Forum Bashundhara quickly gained huge attention in the neighborhood. By this time, Executive Committee had been constituted, and the group’s original name of Bankers In

Bashundhara (BIB) had been changed to Bankers Forum Bashundhara (BFB). The members of the group worked arduously to sustain the atmosphere of friendship and cooperation since they were happy to be a part of such a wonderful neighborhood

movement. Now we are a family of 188 registered members. The Bankers Forum Bashundhara (BFB) is a living example of

what can be accomplished when a group of individuals work together toward a common objective. From idle chatter in a tea shop, it has developed into a thriving neighborhood community that supports one another through good times and bad and actively strives to improve things.
